Account settings
Account settings covers your security details, profile, timezone, notifications, and data management. Open Account settings
Security
Email: your sign-in email. Displayed for reference; contact support if you need to change it.
Password: change your password from the Change password page .
Profile
Avatar: upload a profile picture. Shown to linked viewers and on public profiles if you’ve turned on the avatar toggle on a sharing link.
Username: your public-facing handle. Used in sharing link URLs and visible to linked viewers. Must be unique across all EDGR accounts.
Public profile fields
Bio, age, gender, and location are configured on the Sharing page . They’re only shown on shared dashboards, so they live alongside the sharing controls rather than here.
Timezone
Your profile timezone is used to:
- Display event and session times in the correct local time
- Calculate your daily event cap (the 1,000-per-day limit resets at midnight in your timezone)
- Group data by day in graphs and habit heatmaps
Set it to where you are most of the time. If you travel and log events while abroad, you can edit individual events afterwards to correct their timezone.
Notifications
EDGR can send push notifications (when installed to your home screen) and email notifications for:
- Link requests: someone requesting to link to your account
- Habit activity: logs and completions by linked viewers
- Task activity: task creation, reminders, resolution
- Marketing: product updates (off by default)
Toggle individual notification types on or off in Account settings under Notifications. You can enable or disable push notifications for the current device from the same page.
Push notifications only work when EDGR is installed to your home screen, not in a regular browser tab.
Data: Import and export
CSV export
Download all your events or sessions as a CSV file from the events or sessions list page. The export includes all columns and respects any active filters. If you’ve filtered to a date range or event type, only matching rows are exported.
Exports have no row limit.
CSV import
Bulk-import events or sessions from a CSV file via the import panel on the events or sessions page. The file is checked before upload. You’ll see a row-by-row validation summary before anything is saved.
A few things to know:
- Maximum 50,000 rows per batch
- Imported events don’t count toward your daily cap (excluded from the 1,000-per-day limit)
- Unknown event types are created automatically: if your CSV contains a type that doesn’t exist, EDGR creates it as a custom type
- End an active session before importing sessions
