Getting started

Follow these steps to get set up and start tracking.

1

Create an account

Sign up with an email address and choose a username. Your username is your handle on EDGR — it appears in sharing link URLs and is visible to anyone you link your account with.

2

Set your timezone

EDGR uses your timezone to display event times correctly, reset your daily event cap at midnight, and group your history by day. Set it to where you spend most of your time. You can update it later in Account settings.

Log your first event

Open the Play page and tap an event type in the quick-add panel at the top of the screen. The event is saved immediately with the current time. Use the Advanced log tab if you want to set a specific time or add a note.

Start a session

Tap Start session on the Play page when you want to track how long an activity lasts. Events logged while a session is running are linked to it automatically. Tap Stop when you're done — EDGR records the total active time.

Explore the dashboard

The dashboard shows your data in cards and widgets — event counts, streaks, session totals, habits, and graphs. The default layout is a useful starting point. Once data is flowing in, explore the card library to build a view that works for you.
