Events

Events are the things you log. Each event has a type, a timestamp, and an optional note. Open Play

Logging an event

At the top of the Play page is the quick-add panel: a row of tiles, one for each event type you’ve marked as a favourite. Tap any tile and the event is logged immediately with the current time and your profile timezone.

The quick-add panel shows your favourited event types. Tap any tile to log it instantly.

For more control, use the Advanced log tab: set a specific date and time, choose a different timezone, add notes, or log multiple events at once.

An event's timezone should always be set to where it happened, and the timestamp to the local time in that timezone. The time of an event always displays in the timezone it was logged in.

Event types

You can create custom event types from the Configuration page . Custom types work exactly like built-in types everywhere: in graphs, task criteria, and exports.

To show an event tile in the quick-add panel, mark that event type as a favourite on the Configuration page .

Editing and deleting events

Open the All Events list and tap any event to edit it. You can change the type, date and time, timezone, or notes, then save. To delete, use the delete button in the edit panel.

To edit or delete multiple events at once, select them (tap and hold on mobile to activate the checkbox) and use Edit selected from the action bar at the bottom of your screen.

Bulk editing

The bulk edit panel lets you apply changes to all selected events at once. Each field has a toggle; only toggled fields are applied. This means you can change the timezone on 50 events without touching their notes.
